MORSA Chair is a lounging chair that offers optimal comfort through its bended shape and harmonizes sustainability and style, resulting in a unique piece that is timeless and bold. The base frame, constructed from oak and finished with satin wood oil, gives a great contrast to the lightweight seating and backrest, crafted from aircraft plywood, appearing almost floating. The chairs three compartments can be dismounted, due to its technical connections of M6 flat bolt screws, that are fully visible. As design element this detail complements the soft shape of the chair and offers the option to repair or adjust the design over time, by switching up the color combination. To challenge the dynamic flexibility of the aircraft plywood, layers between one and three 1.5mm sheets were used, but only as little as needed, to guarantee the stability of this chair.
