The central focus of this project revolves around a comprehensive circular design philosophy, influencing our decisions regarding material selection and manufacturing processes. This approach ensures that PEPPER is fully dismountable, repairable, and recyclable. PEPPER has been meticulously crafted with the aim of delivering a portable luminaire capable of providing both atmospheric ambiance and functional illumination. Users can effortlessly adjust the lighting environment by rotating the shell to achieve either direct or indirect lighting, with the added convenience of mechanical dimming capability. This luminaire envelops the surrounding space in a gentle, diffuse light through indirect wallwashing, while also offering the versatility of a direct reading light, making it an ideal lighting solution for bedrooms. The wall mount securely holds the aluminum luminaire and functions as charging station, allowing PEPPER to be moved, creating a distinct ambience literally anywhere.
